1. Furry Fellas Pet Service

A growing pet services business in Rhode Island is looking to expand, which means plenty of opportunities are available. If you love animals, have a flexible schedule, and are willing to become pet CPR/First Aid certified, you definitely need to check out Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC.

Their dog walking, pet sitting, and occasional overnight pet sitting positions all involve traveling to client’s homes. They are also looking for sitters who are willing to keep pets overnight in their own home. Learn more about the requirements for this position on the company’s employment page.

2. Lifespan

Lifespan is Rhode Island’s largest health system and private employer. They are currently looking for Coding Specialists for telecommuting positions. If you have working knowledge of clinical documentation, can codes inpatient medical records, are comfortable navigating the electronic medical record, and abide by the standards of ethical coding, you should check out this position.

3. IGT

A global leader in the gaming industry, IGT is looking for a Business Pro Analyst II. To succeed in this telecommuting job, you will need to have a strong foundation in data analysis, have experience with systems like Tableau, NICE/IEX and Salesforce, and be able to pass the company security background check.

4. Lighthouse Computer Services

Are you looking for a travel-based position with the opportunity to work remotely when you aren’t at a client site? This is a job that has a healthy mix of both.

If you hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field), and have five years of progressive experience developing and integrating Middleware technologies for clients, head over to the Lighthouse Computer Services job page and check out their Middleware Architect position. You must live in one of three states, including Rhode Island, to apply.

5. Aetna

Ready to take your nursing experience to an at-home career? Aetna is hiring RN Case Managers in Providence. In this position, you will communicate telephonically with patients and their care teams. If hired, you must be able to attend two weeks of on-site, out of state training in the New Albany, Ohio office.

To succeed as an RN Case Manager, you will need stellar computer skills, professional phone etiquette, the ability to multitask, and an active, unrestricted RN license. The company is looking for candidates who have at least five years of experience in a non-remote nursing position.

Do you have experience working with children? John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth is recruiting for several telecommuting positions. The exact requirements vary based on the position, but typically include a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus some experience.

There are openings for social media associates, online program instructors, curriculum specialists, and more. Before you’re hired for a position working with children, you must pass a background check. Additionally, after being hired, employees must complete an online Child Abuse Prevention training. 7. VocoVision

If you are a licensed SLP, you can join the VocoVision team and provide teletherapy for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. As a teletherapist, you work with students in underserved areas, allowing them to receive the services they need.

For most positions, recent SLP experience in a school is required. You must be an effective communicator, have solid computer skills, and be able to write measurable goals for student IEPs.
